HOW TO CHANGE PROCESSOR NAME

This will change name of the processor not the performance and speed. It is just to make fun on your friends.
Don't cheat others. You can keep your name as processor name. It won't effect any hardware of your system.

STEPS

• Open the registry editor and continue following below key.
• HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\CentralProcessor\0
• Now in the right side pane you find the "PROCESSORNAME STRING"
• This will describes current processor name
•  Now double click onmouse there and a new window having name "Edit string"will be opened.  or Right click of mouse on "ProcessorNameString" and sect modify. Anew window with name Edit string will be opened.
•  Now modify the text on the "value data field" . The text will be displayed in place of your processor name in system properties screen.
